Booking:
- A deposit of 30% of the whole amount is required to sign up, otherwise the booking will not be confirmed. The payment must be done in local currency (i. e. Euro) and by wire transfer to: Cassa di Risparmio di Lucca Pisa Livorno - Sede di Camaiore, 55041 CAMAIORE - Lucca; IBAN code: IT47 J06200 246 0000 000 326383; SWIFT code: BPALITL 1616; account holder "Gerolamo Pigni Maccia - Maria Teresa Marsili – Cinghialino".
- The remaining 70% is to be settled upon arrival to the person in charge of the Guest’s reception. A receipt will be issued immediately.
- In addition, a down deposit of 300,00 euros is required as a guarantee in case of potential significant damages (excluding usual wear); if it’s not the case the sum will be entirely returned to the Guest upon departure. A receipt for the guarantee will be issued immediately.
- The booking confirmation occurs when the 30% deposit is received by the bank. To avoid delays due to bank operational procedures, booking may also be confirmed by sending to Il Cinghialino property a bank statement proving that the irrevocable wire transfer has been confirmed.
Cancellation policy:
- If the cancellation notice is received 90 or more days prior to the beginning of the stay as it is mentioned in the booking, the sum equal to the 90% of the deposit (30% of the total rate due) will be reimbursed to the Guest, while the remaining 10% (3% of the total amount) partially accounts for expenses and costs of Il Cinghialino.
- If the cancellation notice is received between 90 and 60 days prior to the beginning of the stay as it is mentioned in the booking, the sum equal to the 50% of the above mentioned deposit will be reimbursed to the Guest, while the remaining 50% (15% of the total amount) accounts for the damages caused to Il Cinghialino for such a short cancellation notice.
- If the cancellation notice is received less than 60 days prior to the beginning of the stay as it is mentioned in the booking, the whole of the above mentioned deposit (30% of the total rate due) will be kept unless there is proof of unpredictable events of force majeure.
- No-show i.e. without notice: in this case Il Cinghialino will be entitled to accept other Guests starting from the beginning of the stay as it is mentioned in the booking. In this case (no-show without notice) Il Cinghialino reserves the right to ask the Guest who didn’t show up the payment of the total rate due (thus the remaining 70%): this as compensation for damages caused by the impossibilty to promote the vacancy of the apartment.
